the third advent

i just realized 4 months have past since last blogging. not only that, it has been about that long since i went to exercise. anyways i started going back to the gym 2 weeks ago. i got a call and was told i had 6 sessions with a trainer. so i had to go back.
anyways, last sunday which happens to be the 3rd advent of 2006; i had some interesting thing go on. in the morning, i was debating whether to go to st. mathias. an anglican church in my neighborhood. the church was going to have their chritmas pagaent at one of their service. i was interested at what they were going to do. i was also keen in going to holy trinity. i have not gone for 2 weeks. so i decided to go to holy trinity. before i went i had breakfast at neighbors and friends, a small but fine restaurant. anyways i finish eating, pay and leave. as i was about to leave, this man confronts me. asks me if i could spare a change. when i say no. he starts to ask if there was anything wrong with him. he talks to me for 5mins or so. then he asks if could buy him breakfast. so i decide to buy him breakfast. i realize that was a good thing. for the next 15 mins or so, he talks to me saying that he could see things other ppl can not see. i did not what to say. i stayed a little longer and just left. i got his name, gave him some money. i was a bit late going to church, but also glad i went to church.
later i went to see a play called, summer of my amazing luck based on the same book. a hilarious, yet serious at times story of a single mother. her struggle raising a child, fighting the goverment and the search for a juggler named gotcha. if at anytime this play is mounted again, i will defnitlly watch again. i recommend highly this play.
and finally my day ended at sol cafe. the 2nd annual christmas pagaent. it is always a pleasure and fun to attend sol cafe. interesting ppl from different background. if any are in edmonton on a sunday, i encourage you to go to sol cafe. anyways that was how my sunday went.
